Automotive Android AOSP Developer

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement software solutions for our Android Automotive platform, deeply rooted in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Java and Kotlin. - Employ Android Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, utilizing frameworks such as JUnit, Robolectric, and Espresso to ensure code quality and reliability. - Actively participate in Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and Product Increment (PI) cycles within an Agile development environment. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and best practices. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Android Automotive and AOSP you'll bring : - Proven experience in Android development, with a strong focus on the Android Automotive platform and AOSP. - Solid proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages. - Extensive experience with Android testing frameworks, including JUnit for unit testing, Robolectric for local unit testing, and Espresso for UI testing. - Demonstrable experience working in an Agile environment, particularly with Sprint and Product Increment based development cycles. - A strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) (ref:hirist.tech)
