Test Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in software testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing across a range of applications and platforms. This role offers flexibility with the option to work from Trivandrum, Bangalore, or remotely. Key Responsibilities : - Manual Testing: Perform functional and regression testing of applications, ensuring software quality and reliability. - Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks to improve test efficiency. - Test Planning & Execution: Prepare detailed test plans, design test cases, and execute tests according to project requirements. - Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or similar, ensuring timely resolution. - Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with development teams to understand system requirements, provide feedback on quality issues, and ensure high-quality product delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Experience : 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automation testing. - Testing Tools: Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Experience with performance testing tools is a plus. - Bug Tracking: Strong knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or others. - Programming: Good knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or similar, for creating automation scripts.
