Job Title : SAP Cloud Infrastructure Lead Experience : 7 Years Role Description : We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic SAP Cloud Infrastructure Lead to spearhead the management and optimization of our cloud infrastructure supporting critical SAP applications, including S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). As a key leader within our technology team, you will be responsible for the strategic design, seamless implementation, and robust maintenance of our cloud services. You will lead and mentor a team of cloud professionals, ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our SAP cloud environments. This role demands extensive expertise in cloud service provisioning, a deep understanding of SAP environment optimization within cloud architectures, and proven experience in infrastructure performance management at scale. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring business continuity and managing integrations between our cloud and on-premise systems. Responsibilities : Cloud Infrastructure Strategy and Design : - Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud infrastructure strategy aligned with our SAP application roadmap and business objectives. - Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition and SAP BTP. Cloud Service Implementation and Deployment : - Lead the implementation and deployment of SAP applications and related services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Oversee the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources, including compute, storage, networking, and security components. - Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives for automated provisioning and management of cloud environments. - Collaborate with SAP functional teams and implementation partners to ensure successful deployments. Cloud Infrastructure Management and Maintenance : - Lead the day-to-day management and maintenance of SAP cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and stability. - Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact business operations. - Manage cloud resource utilization and optimize costs through efficient resource allocation and rightsizing. - Perform regular system health checks, patching, and upgrades of cloud infrastructure components. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery : - Develop and implement robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans for SAP cloud environments. - Conduct regular DR testing to ensure the effectiveness of recovery procedures. - Ensure high availability and resilience of critical SAP systems in the cloud. Integration with On-Premise Systems : - Manage and troubleshoot integrations between SAP cloud environments and on-premise systems. - Design and implement secure and reliable connectivity solutions. - Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between different environments. Team Leadership and Mentorship : - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud infrastructure engineers and specialists. - Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide regular feedback. - Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. - Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and SAP innovations, and share knowledge with the team. Security and Compliance : - Ensure that SAP cloud infrastructure adheres to relevant security policies, compliance standards, and industry best practices. - Implement and manage security controls within the cloud environment. - Participate in security audits and address any identified vulnerabilities. Performance Monitoring and Optimization : - Implement and utilize tools for monitoring the performance of SAP cloud infrastructure. - Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies. - Ensure optimal performance and responsiveness of SAP applications in the cloud. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in managing and implementing cloud infrastructure, with a significant focus on SAP environments. - Deep understanding and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure for SAP applications, specifically S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition and SAP BTP. - Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively. - Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates). - Solid understanding of networking principles and cloud networking services. - Experience with security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex cloud infrastructure scenarios. - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills : - Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect). - SAP certifications related to cloud technologies. - Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting). - Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices. - Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
