Technocrat Horizons - Full Stack Developer - PHP/Javascript

Role Summary : We are seeking a Full Stack WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites and applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies and have a deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem. Youll work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create responsive, user-friendly, and scalable web Responsibilities : - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on project requirements. - Customize existing themes and plugins to enhance functionality and performance. - Build and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks. - Implement dynamic features using PHP and MySQL for custom backend functionalities. - Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed (e.g., payment gateways, CRM tools, analytics). - Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. - Conduct regular site maintenance, bug fixes, and performance tuning. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adhere to web accessibility standards (WCAG). - Collaborate with UI/UX designers and stakeholders to implement website features. - Use version control (e.g., Git) and follow modern development workflows (e.g., CI/CD Skills Required : - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery - Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js optional but a plus) - Familiarity with SASS/SCSS and Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks - Experience with responsive and mobile-first design & WordPress Core : - Expertise in PHP, specifically for WordPress development - Deep knowledge of WordPress core functions, hooks, filters, and template hierarchy - Experience developing and customizing WordPress plugins and themes - Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), WooCommerce, WPML, and other popular plugins - Proficient in MySQL database design and query & Other Skills : - Experience with Git and version control workflows - Familiarity with WP-CLI and command-line operations - Experience with cPanel, hosting environments, DNS management, and SSL setup - Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating third-party services - Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and performance optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse, to Have : - Knowledge of headless CMS or decoupled WordPress architecture - Experience with Docker or container-based development - Understanding of Agile methodologies and task tracking tools like Jira or Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality (ref:hirist.tech)
