Diesel Technician (TRUCKS) Location: Cape Town (Kraaifontein) Salary: R17 000 R20 000 Basic (Dependent on Experience) Type: Permanent | Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Support the Workshop Foreman in maintaining smooth operational workflows Perform maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately Record all labour hours, parts, lubricants, and consumables used Maintain proper documentation and ensure job cards are accurately completed Conduct on-site breakdown support with professionalism and preparedness Adhere to workshop systems, safety protocols, and quality standards Maintain cleanliness of work area and vehicles used Mentor apprentices and support skills transfer in the workshop Ensure warranty claims follow proper diagnostic protocol (Complaint, Cause, Correction) Participate in training and pursue personal development and upskilling Minimum Requirements: Matric Certificate Diesel Trade Test (completed) Minimum 23 years experience in a similar technician role Code 14 Drivers License with PDP Strong technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination High attention to detail Effective communication skills
