Performance Test Engineer - JMeter/LoadRunner

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test plans and strategies for enterprise applications. - Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks and optimization opportunities. - Work with developers and system engineers to tune applications, databases, and infrastructure for maximum performance. - Create and maintain performance testing scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or equivalent. - Monitor server, database, and application performance during test execution using tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, New Relic, etc. - Simulate peak load and stress scenarios to assess system scalability and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance SLAs and KPIs. - Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate performance test outcomes and Skills & Experience : - 8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering. - Strong experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Neoload, BlazeMeter, etc. - In-depth knowledge of system architecture, HTTP/S protocols, web services (REST/SOAP), and databases. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or JavaScript for test automation and result parsing. - Experience with CI/CD integration and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude. - Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and documentation Qualifications : - Experience in cloud performance testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Exposure to containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and performance engineering best practices. - Knowledge of network analysis tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
