Our client, a well-established dealership located in the Johannesburg North area, is seeking to appoint a Qualified Master Technician to join their service team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and mentoring junior technicians. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on vehicles Assist and mentor junior technicians within the workshop Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications Conduct quality control checks and road tests as required Keep up to date with the latest technical bulletins and training Maintain accurate service records and adhere to warranty procedures Support service advisors and workshop manager with technical queries Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) – Essential Recognised Automotive Technical Qualification – Essential (Trade Tested Motor Mechanic) Certified Ford Master Technician – Essential Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified technician, with proven Master Technician status Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities Valid driver’s license Experience with dealership diagnostic systems and tools Excellent understanding of manufacturer repair standards and procedures Clean Criminal Record Preferred Attributes: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and under pressure High level of technical expertise and product knowledge Committed to continuous learning and development
