Senior Platform Engineer - Kubernetes/OpenShift/Ansible

Job Description - Provide comprehensive infrastructure solutions based on customer DevOps tools, including Git, Ansible, Ansible Tower, Docker, Kubernetes, and the Atlassian suite (Bamboo, Bitbucket). - Design robust and scalable distributed systems and possess strong troubleshooting skills within upstream Kubernetes environments. - Demonstrate high proficiency in working with Kubernetes distributions such as TK8, OpenShift, and Rancher for container orchestration. - Possess the ability to effectively translate technical features into clear and concise user stories for development teams. - Work comfortably and efficiently within Linux environments, including strong troubleshooting capabilities. Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) : Must-Have - : Kubernetes : Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and operations. Atlassian Tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket) Administration : Proven experience in administering and managing Bamboo for CI/CD and Bitbucket for code management. OpenShift, Rancher : Hands-on experience in managing and operating OpenShift and/or Rancher platforms. Ansible : Strong skills in developing and managing infrastructure automation using Ansible. Docker : Solid understanding and practical experience with containerization using Docker. Good-to-Have : Git : Familiarity with Git for version control. Nexus : Experience with Nexus for artifact management. Sonar : Knowledge of SonarQube for code quality analysis. Python, YAML : Proficiency in Python and YAML for scripting and configuration. Terraform : Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. VMware : Familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies. Microservices : Understanding of microservices architecture and deployment. Shell/Perl/Groovy Scripting : Experience with scripting languages for automation tasks.
