Location: Washington, Missouri
Department: Manufacturing Operations
Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Travel Requirement: Up to 10% domestic

What You'll Do

  • Lead EH&S compliance efforts, applying local, state, federal, and international standards.
  • Create and deliver safety training that's effective and engaging.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
    • Maintain permits, records, reports, and documentation.
    • Oversee SDS management, labeling, and hazard communications.
    • Monitor evolving regulations and update internal practices.
    • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to embed safety into processes and design.
    • Champion employee health and wellness programs.
    • Become our internal expert on the safe use of abrasives in surface preparation.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • 3–5 years of EH&S experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • CSP, CIH, CHMM certifications are a plus (or a goal within your first year).
  • Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean environments and visual management is helpful.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Walk, stand, and navigate safely through a manufacturing environment.
  • Use standard office and computer equipment for extended periods.
  • Work in typical manufacturing conditions: noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
