Special Education Teacher (SPED) Emotional Support Damariscotta, ME Full-Time | K-3 Caseload | Onsite About the Opportunity: ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher (SPED) with an Emotional Support focus for a full-time school-based position in Damariscotta, ME. This role involves working primarily with K-3 students, with some support for middle-grade students. The position is onsite and runs ASAP through the extended school year (ESY) until June 12, 2025. Position Details: Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) Start Date: ASAP End Date: June 12, 2025 (ESY) Caseload: K-3 students, with some middle-grade students Location: Damariscotta, ME (onsite only) Key Responsibilities: Provide special education instruction and support to students with emotional and behavioral needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure student success Utilize behavioral interventions and differentiated instruction to support learning Maintain documentation and progress reports Qualifications: Valid Maine Teacher Certificate with a 282 K-8 Endorsement (conditional or provisional accepted) Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral needs Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs Why Work with ProCare Therapy?
