Job Details: Location: Onsite near the Charlotte, North Carolina area Start Date: ASAP Caseload and Site Details: The number of students/sites and specific caseload information will be discussed in more detail during the interview with the Special Services Director. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field) Valid state (NC) teaching certification/license in Special Education Prior experience working with students with special needs, especially in an inner-city setting, is preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Provide specialized instruction and support to help students meet their academic and social goals Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed ProCare Benefits: Paid weekly (W-2) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) matching Salary will be based on school-based experience but is negotiable.
