Trade Qualified Fabricator/Welder - Stainless Steel Fabrication

We are specialists in stainless steel fabrication, installation, maintenance and design, Our capabilities cover commercial and residential projects, marine fabrication, Gas and Electric “Cookout” BBQs, decorative fire appliances and one-off architectural projects. We have adopted a 4 day work week (38 hours Mon-Thurs) with opportunity for overtime on Fridays. We value attention to detail and feedback on our services. We are seeking a trade qualified Stainless Steel Fabricator, experienced in light gauge TIG welding a to join our production team. Qualifications and role requirements Certificate 3 in Engineering in Fabrication (light) Experience in light gauge TIG welding Experience in marine and custom fabrication and installation Experience in finishing stainless steel (grinding and polishing to high finish) Willingness to learn new skills The ability to read and fully comprehend shop drawings First rate verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and undertake instructions The ability to work unassisted Responsibilities Promote quality and maximize productivity by leading by example Collaborate with other team member to meet common objectives Undertake range of fabrication projects which may involve some or all facets of fabrication and welding. Take pride and ownership in your own work Don't walk by. If something needs addressing, it is done by the person that discovers the issue.
