Operations Manager (Hazchem or Chemicals)

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION: A tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field, supported by a minimum of 10 years experience in operational leadership, process optimization, and national and international product distribution (including exports). Proven ability to manage operational budgets, implement continuous improvement strategies, and maintain efficient supply chains in high-pressure, service-driven environments. Strong business acumen and natural leadership capabilities, with a sound understanding of Hazchem compliance, storage, and distribution protocols. A solid track record in supplier relationship management, import/export procedures, and third-party logistics coordination. A valid drivers licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and a clear credit and criminal record are essential.
