Aluminium Boat Welders / Fabricators

Key Responsibilities: Welding: Weld aluminium plates and extrusions using MIG and TIG techniques. Measure and cut aluminium to design specifications. Read and interpret welding/design drawings. Work according to production deadlines and schedules. Knowledge of 5083 Aluminium welding procedures. Health & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and wear correct PPE. Report equipment or weld issues. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Ensure tools, chemicals, and equipment are safely packed away. Administration: File and store drawings securely. Submit time and attendance records to management. Follow company HR policies and procedures. Skills Required: Self-motivated and positive attitude. Systematic and technically minded. Team player with sober habits. Energetic and good problem-solving skills. Good communication (verbal and written). Requirements: Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience on aluminium boats. MIG / TIG Welding qualification or equivalent. Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and HSE compliance. Physical Requirements: Able to walk, climb, lift, push/pull heavy materials and equipment. Comfortable working in confined spaces. Physically adaptable to welding and marine production environments.
