Job Description: The Risk Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing risk management strategies across the VKB Group. This role ensures the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial and operational risks, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and the cultivation of a risk-aware culture within the organisation. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Law, or a related field Relevant qualifications in risk management or related disciplines Minimum 5 years experience in financial risk management across diverse industries (agriculture, insurance, corporate, finance) At least 3 years in a senior managerial or leadership role Proven experience with compliance, governance, and risk frameworks Proficient in both Afrikaans and English Valid Drivers License Willingness to travel Key Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and implement group-wide risk management and mitigation strategies Monitor and evaluate risk exposure across all departments Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards Promote and embed a risk-aware culture across the organisation Provide guidance and support to executive management on risk-related matters Prepare detailed reports for management and Board committee Key Skills: Critical thinking Analytical thinking Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) High attention to detail Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Other Information The company can expire jobs at any time at their own discretion.
