Financial Controller

Job summary: The Financial Controller is a key member of the regional management team, responsible for ensuring good financial management, integrity of financial reporting and performance enhancement. This role involves leading an efficient Finance function, providing timely financial information and analysis to aid in planning and decision-making, and enforcing relevant financial policies and procedures. Main Responsibilities: Implement and maintain systems for accurate financial reporting. Perform monthly accounting close and submit management reports. Ensure assets and liabilities are accurately recorded and comply with financial policies. Ensure accurate financial forecasts and compliance with statutory requirements. Comply with country tax regulations and pursue lawful tax savings. Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and documentation. Reconcile tax receivables and pursue refunds promptly. Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure authorized transactions. Ensure efficient transaction processing for invoicing, receivables, payables, and cash disbursements. Collaborate with relevant functions to maintain sound controls over business processes. Act as a financial partner to operations team to drive financial performance. Focus on key financial metrics and provide relevant analysis. Perform investment return analysis and prioritize capital allocation. Promote good governance and enforce compliance with internal controls. Plan and build the finance organization to support business growth. Mentor and develop team members to drive motivation and retention. Qualifications: Professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Advanced Excel and ERP skills, preferably SAP. Excellent communication skills. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Over 10 years of experience in similar roles. Proficiency in English and the local language
