Diesel Technician

The role involves supporting the Workshop Foreman by maintaining strong internal relationships and ensuring efficient management of work tasks. Responsibilities include: Accurately recording hours worked, lubricants, parts, and consumables on job cards, adhering to company standards, and ensuring high-quality performance. The role also requires participation in training, mentoring apprentices, managing Health and Safety compliance, and promoting a productive, positive working environment. Additionally, responsibilities include managing breakdowns professionally, maintaining company tools and assets, and ensuring effective communication with the workshop manager. Requirements: Matric or higher Diesel Trade qualification Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role Code 14 license with PDP Electrical experience is advantageous Attributes: Physically fit, proactive, and confident Strong attention to detail and communication skills Technical expertise with good documentation skills
