Chef de rang - F&B Service Expert

The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Rang . Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B. This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week). It offers an opportunity to work in a place of exceptional art and elegance, where history and culture meet Venetian style. What you’ll be doing Welcoming guests and attending to tables promptly Serving food and beverages, making recommendations as needed Assisting guests with menu questions and special requests Recording transactions accurately in MICROS system Checking guest satisfaction and maintaining cleanliness and organization Communicating with the kitchen regarding orders, allergies, and special requests What we’re looking for Legal right to work in Italy with a valid full-time work permit (40 hours/week) Fluent in English and Italian Understanding of F&B operations and luxury hospitality Positive attitude, outgoing personality, and teamwork skills Experience in fine dining preferred; knowledge of Micros is a plus This role requires physical ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance in a clean uniform. Safety training and certification will be required prior to employment.
