Department Overview Supply Chain Operations is part of Vestas' growing and dynamic Service Business Unit. The department manages warehouse operations, the backbone of our supply chain, in our Mediterranean (MED) sales business unit. Our MED Warehousing & Operations team supports the business by ensuring timely availability and reliable delivery of spares, main components, and tools. We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor primarily for operations in Italy, with support responsibilities for other regions if needed. Location: Taranto, Italy Responsibilities Coordinate warehouse activities across Italy, managing inventory and ensuring supply chain performance. Maintain effective, productive, and lean warehouse operations. Ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Supervise direct reports and foster high-performing teams. Support regional growth and warehouse footprint expansion. Lead strategic and operational improvement projects. Collaborate with third-party suppliers to meet service level agreements and compliance standards. Qualifications University Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field. 3-5 years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain activities. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Competencies Deep knowledge of warehousing management and service operations, with a focus on cost minimization and service quality. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory compliance. Proven leadership and excellent communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize and implement changes. Proficiency in IT, Supply Chain Planning, and ERP systems. Experience working across borders and within matrix organizations. Flexible approach and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
