Position: Senior Sales Manager - International Eyewear Brands Location: Bangalore, India Department: Vision Commercial Reporting Structure: Head of Business Development and collaborate with various stakeholders to align frame initiatives with ZEISS's strategic goals. Overview: ZEISS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead the launch and growth of exclusive international frame eyewear brands in India. This role is crucial for establishing a strong market presence and driving the business strategy for foreign frame eyewear brands distributed by ZEISS. The ideal candidate is passionate about premium eyewear, understands the power of personal connections, and enjoys working with high-quality products and discerning customers. Key Responsibilities: Market Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the introduction and growth of exclusive international frame brands in the Indian market. Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international frame brands to ensure alignment with ZEISS’s distribution goals. Sales Growth: Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets, leveraging insights from market analysis and customer feedback. Customer Engagement: Identify and engage potential customers, ensuring a robust customer acquisition strategy that aligns with ZEISS’s guidelines. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and engage prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to foster brand loyalty and repeat business. Product Presentation and Demonstration: Present and demonstrate ZEISS's eyewear collections to clients, effectively communicating the unique features, benefits, and craftsmanship of our products. Stay informed about the latest product releases and industry trends to provide clients with up-to-date information. Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor sales performance, market trends, and customer preferences, making informed decisions to optimize business operations. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business plans. Training and Development: Provide strong product training and support to the sales team on product knowledge and sales techniques to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management. Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong product training abilities to effectively educate the sales team and customers. Proficiency in data analysis and market research. Ability to develop strategic partnerships and drive sales growth. Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, preferably within the luxury goods or eyewear sector. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively. Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Existing network and relationships within the optical industry would be a significant advantage. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in the eyewear industry, demonstrating a proven track record of launching and growing brands.
