Role – Legal Counsel Background – Commercial Contracts Salary - up to £70K Location - West Midlands Working Pattern – Hybrid (3 Days in the office) Hours – Full Time Permanent over 5 days An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 3 PQE Qualified Solicitor with a Commercial law background to join a UK based IT business. A background in IT/Telecoms would be advantageous but not essential. Candidate profile - Offer pragmatic and commercial legal advice to the growing UK business. Strong background in commercial contract drafting of all sizes. Negotiate where required with external clients and suppliers. The candidate must be confident to work independently and although guidance can be given a level of confidence is required. Provide support to senior stakeholders across the Group, ensuring decision making is made in a commercial fashion and legal advice is followed through. Support other team members where required with any 'ad hoc' legal assignments. Role Requirements : Minimum 3 PQE in Commercial Law, In-House experience although advantageous is not required, IT/Telecoms and SaaS experience would be desirable but not essential, High level of attention to detail and accuracy is essential, Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, Work as part of a UK wide legal team in various locations.
