Lead Data Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities: Work with Users, and Business Analysts to understand and translate functional requirements to technical design. Analysis and resolution of sophisticateddatarelationships anddatacleansing/profiling scenarios. Hands-on configuration of hierarchies, entity types, attributes, relationships, and crosswalks in SITBO Systems MDM/PIM. Solid understanding of high-level enterprise architecturepatternsfordataingesting, storing, processing, and publishing Experience configuring Out-of-the-box and Custom Cleanse Functions within an MDM. Experience configuring External matches, and their usage to profile the incomingdatafor new sources. Configuration and usage of advanced queries, Workflowmanagement, UserManagement, and UI Config. Experience with LCA configuration for customizations. Strategic problem solving and leading the engineering of an MDM project. withinAzureandAWSecosystems. Work with projectmanagementto develop the overall implementation solution, roadmap and plan. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience. Experience in data management, engineering, and/or software development. Knowledge of data hierarchies, entity types, attributes, relationships, and crosswalks. Knowledge of query tuning, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging data solutions. Prior experience in a master data analysis, management, integration, or implementation for wholesale / distributor industry is a plus. Solid understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies. Knowledge of, experience in and / or development in one of these is a preferred. (Java, JavaScript, C, C++, SQL, Python, Node.js, Azure, XML, JSON, Git, Linux) Experience in supporting integrations using standard connectors, publish-subscribe, and other mechanisms (Azure, Oracle, Salesforce CRM, STEP PIM/MDM solutions). An understanding of Azure cloud methodology and resources including SQL Data Warehouse, Blobs / Containers, Data Lake, Azure Data Factory. Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth). Analytical and problem-solving approach with effective communication skills. Ability to operate in a team setting as well as work independently with minimal guidance. Agile / Scrum Experience
