Income Tax Accountant Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of income and franchise tax accounting and compliance Prepare quarterly income tax provisions and deferred analysis Prepare quarterly income tax footnotes and disclosures for financial reporting Prepare state apportionment calculations Prepare Local income tax filings Prepare quarterly estimated payments support and assist with submission of payments Research potential impacts of new tax legislation Communicate frequently with all income tax team members, Regulatory Agencies and other necessary outside organizations in respect to assigned areas Conform and adhere to internal controls over income tax procedures as set forth by upper management What You Need to Succeed: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent 3 years of Income Tax experience (prefer public accounting) Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines Ability to read and understand financial statements Strong computer, presentation and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail oriented with excellent time management skills Ability to collaborate with team members to improve current processes Experience resolving notices with Federal, State & Local Authorities Experience preparing month end and quarter end account reconciliations Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax Software / Corp tax / Go systems.
