Associate (Maritime Law)

Minimum Job Requirements: LLM or studying towards LLM in Maritime Law. Studying towards an Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualification (strong advantage). Minimum 3 years litigation experience, preferably Maritime Law. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide clear legal advice on complex legal matters. Act as Counsel on legal issues. Contact and liaise with clients. Research and analyse relevant regulatory requirements and translate into business solutions. Â Draft legal opinions, affidavits, pleadings and related Court documents. Build and maintain business relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Competencies: Communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and plan. Demonstrate customer focus. Constructive teamwork.
