Job Description
Minimum requirements: 2 years of experience in a training or coordination role Experience in developing training materials or using Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-learning tools Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or related credentials is optional Key Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and productivity Design, develop, and update training materials, manuals, and courses Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create industry-specific or role-specific content Evaluate and select appropriate training methods (e.g., e-learning, workshops, on-the-job training) Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs based on job requirements, employee performance, and company objectives Organize and schedule training sessions, including securing venues, instructors Facilitate training sessions in person or online as needed Ensure employees are registered and informed about upcoming training opportunities Maintain training records, attendance logs, and progress reports Prepare and present reports on training activities, results to management Manage training budgets and track expenses Coordinate with external trainers, vendors, or consultants as necessary Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, or certifications Support career development initiatives and succession planning Consultant: Timiyah de Goede - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
