Operator (Explosives Truck)

This role calls for a safety-conscious professional who thrives in high-responsibility environments and takes pride in their work, equipment, and delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a mixer-placer truck to load explosive products into drilled holes, ensuring adherence to strict safety and quality standards. You will also be accountable for the daily inspection, calibration, and cleanliness of the vehicle, as well as accurate reporting and quality control of explosive charges on-site. Key Skills & Requirements: Grade 12 with Mathematics Valid EC licence with Dangerous Goods and Passengers (DGP) permit Minimum 3 years truck driving experience (mining environment preferred) 5 years experience operating heavy-duty (EC) vehicles Ability to conduct pre-use inspections, calibrations, and quality assessments Strong attention to detail and SHERQ compliance Effective communication and teamwork abilities EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
