Tax Consultant

Minimum requirements: Previous Experience in the role Attention to detail ensuring accurate tax submissions Explaining tax matters to clients in simple terms. Problem-solving mindset resolving tax queries and client concerns All tasks related to the completion and submission of tax returns for individuals Assisting clients with tax calculations and checking for applicable deductions Ensuring accurate capturing of income, expenses, and tax-related documents Following up with SARS on outstanding returns, refunds, or disputes Helping clients register for tax numbers and update personal details Basic understanding of tax deductions and allowable expenses (medical aid, travel allowance, retirement contributions, etc.) Basic PAYE & UIF knowledge (for individuals and small business owners) Handling SARS queries, auto-assessments, and objections Assisting with tax clearance certificates and compliance verification Preparing and submitting ITR12 tax returns for individuals SARS e-Filing proficiency and experience in tax return preparation (ITR12, IRP6, etc.) 1 years SARS e-Filing experience submitting ITR12 and ITR14 Consultant: Jane Scorgie - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
