The Opportunity This position is responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting activities to gather all information required by corporate tax of all entities in LATAM by guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the data collection of deferred tax (FAS109), Tax Forecast, Supplemental File by Quarter; review of USGAAP movements, REO transfers, inflation effects, ETR determination, etc. Your Impact As Tax Reporting Accountant your responsibilities would consist of: 1. Participate in the monthly closing ensuring timeliness, accuracy, integrity and compliance with corporate and tax policies. Ensure correct HFM reports regarding tax provision at month end closing as each quarter data such as Deferred taxes, current provision, tax cash details, ETR reconciliation Validation of all the FAS109 cedulas with explanations. Tax accounting support regarding FIN 48 2. Understand tax account reconciliation process. Who Are We Looking For? Education Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is mandatory. Experience A minimum of 5 years’ experience as in general accounting roles or similar tax positions. Bilingual (English/Spanish). English level of 70% (reading, writing, conversational) Previous systems experience working with SAP, FDM, HFM is mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in basic accounting rules. Knowledge in FAS109 is mandatory. Knowledge in USGAAP and MEXGAAPS desirable Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, macros) Highly organized and methodical individual who pays attention to details. Must be proactive and be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments to adhere to strict. Interpersonal and communication skills are required as individual will be required to interact with employees of all levels.
