Underground Fitter

Requirements that are needed: Candidate Requirements (Skills and Experience) Must have matric and must be a qualified Fitter Must have 5 years' experience underground No criminal record Valid Medical Certificate or medically fit to work underground Duties would be but not limited to the following: Will be trained on the equipment to oversee the maintenance, Installation and training on a mining site Maintenance and preventive maintenance Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment Safety Ensure the safe and effective operation of machinery and equipment Installation Install equipment according to standards breakdowns Perform maintenance and breakdown duties as required Report mechanical breakdowns and problems to supervisors Documentation Maintain the maintenance system and update records Training Train and supervise subordinates
