We are an innovative company that is dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of our products. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Technician to spearhead the development and management of our new quality lab.
Job Description:
The Quality Technician will be responsible for managing Res' quality lab, performing required inspections for PPAP and annual part layouts, and supporting the production floor with day-to-day quality related questions. In addition, this individual will:
- Perform production team weld verifications (destructive testing, etch tests, etc.)
- Manage the material review board (MRB) process.
- Coordinate external metrology calibration.
- Manage the PPAP master sample inventory.
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
- Perform the duties of an Internal Auditor.
- Support Engineering with part inspection as needed; this could include first and last piece set up verifications.
- Perform necessary laboratory services, using hand measuring tools as well as a Romer Arm, CMM, and optical comparator.
Skills Required:
- Operating and programming 3D scanner, Romer arm preferred
- Internal auditor
- Skilled problem solver
- Blueprint reading, including GD&T
- Inspection equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
