Lycoming College is hiring an Assistant Field Hockey Coach
This position is a part-time coaching position and is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of Lycoming College’s NCAA Division III Field Hockey program.

Students partner with faculty in doing original research, thrive in a robust program of internships, study abroad in more than two dozen countries, and compete in 19 NCAA Division III sports. Lycoming College’s strong endowment per student provides the foundation to support a first-rate undergraduate education. The College offers more than 100 majors, minors, and concentrations to about 1,100 active learners, including 30% international and domestic students of color. What will I do in this role?
This position is a part-time position that will work 1,450 hours annually at $7.25 per hour. This position is eligible for our excellent retirement benefits! Retirement contributions where eligible employees receive a guaranteed 3% contribution from the College and receive a dollar-for-dollar match on employee contributions, up to 6%, for a total maximum retirement contribution from the College of 9%.

What will I do in this role?
- Assist in planning and conducting practices, conditioning programs and competitive events.
- Promote the Field Hockey Program – assisting with social media.
- Recruit student-athletics who meeting the College’s admissions requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Collegiate playing experience required.
- Coaching experienced preferred (club, high school or collegiate level).
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification required or ability to obtain prior to starting.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check for the necessary travel is required
