HOUSEKEEPING INSPECTOR
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Seattle Everett is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. The Housekeeping Inspector coordinates daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure that guest rooms and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition, and that all standards and procedures are being followed. They conduct inspections of rooms and recommend repairs and upgrades when needed.

STATUS:
  • Full-time & Part-time
SCHEDULE:
  • Variable schedule; Must be available weekends and holidays
RATE OF PAY:
  • $20.54 to $21.94 per hour/DOE

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
  • Housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures.
Skills and Ability to:
  • Successfully lead and motivate staff
  • Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary tools and equipment and perform required duties.
  • Work independently and manage one's time in order to meet productivity standards.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance to meet hotel standards and represent the hotel positively.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and staff both verbally and in writing to receive and convey information.
  • Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma, a minimum of three years of housekeeping experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

Must be able to hear, stand, stoop, bend, climb, balance, lift, carry, crouch, kneel, and have a keen sense of visual acuity. Position requires occasional pushing and pulling of carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs., ability to exert well-paced mobility for extended periods and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
