Apex Placement and Consulting is partnering with one of their premier clients in Ossining, NY, in search of a Registered Nurse who values each patient's dignity and provides care irrespective of social or health circumstances.

What you'll be doing:

• Advocating for patients' well-being
• Low nurse/patient ratio
• Overseeing and delegating tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and support staff
• Documenting health assessments and care plans
• Coordinating with the care team
• Educating patients and staff
• Initiating and evaluating treatments as per physician orders
• Administering medications. completing IV therapy and wound care as needed

What we are looking for:

• Associate's degree with a valid NYS RN license and necessary certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care.
• CPR certification.
• Proficient in infection control practices, including flu and COVID protocols.
• Computer literate (EHR/Microsoft Office).
• Experience in palliative or hospice care is preferred.
