Apex Placement and Consulting is partnering with one of their premier clients in Ossining, NY, in search of a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team! Our client has been in operation more than 100 years, servicing countries worldwide!

What you'll be doing:

• Dependability required to ensure consistent care, maintain legal documentation, and uphold nursing standards within our designated scope
• Low nurse/patient ratio
• Collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure efficient care delivery tailored to the needs of our members while aligning with our client's vision and mission.
• Understanding and respecting the diverse backgrounds of our members to provide effective care.
• Administering medication, completing IV therapy and wound care as needed

What we are looking for:

• A valid NYS LPN license is required.
• Strict adherence to confidentiality laws is essential.
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is preferred.
• Strong assessment skills are necessary for occasional post-op and emergency care.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• General computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently
