The Senior Corporate Accountant will put together period-end journal entries, perform analytical review procedures during monthly close and prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the following accounting areas: Goodwill, equity, share-based compensation, intercompany transactions and balances and foreign currency.
- Review and post journal entries during period-end close processes.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assess the effectiveness of control procedures.
- Prepare external financial reporting.
- Implement new accounting standards.
- Develop, document and implement procedures that will produce timely and accurate financial information.
- Document processes and procedures.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in accounting.
- Four to six years of accounting or auditing experience.
- CPA strongly preferred or readiness to obtain.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle.
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Ability and desire to work on site, in person, at a Schneider facility as part of a team.
