The platform's foundation is a data augmentation and analytics layer that enables users to visualize a person's "human capital" through a single, understandable score. This WorkHQ score quantifies a user's work experience and education, and is further enriched with proprietary data signals from WorkHQ to provide a comprehensive ranking of professionals in the same functional role.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Take full charge of the execution of the engineering team
- Work closely with executive and product teams to define product scope, features, timelines, and staffing requirements
- Act as a bridge between engineers and leadership, pushing back when necessary
- Strike a balance between the need for new features and system stability and uptime. Balance short-term and long-term success. Be a strong advocate in the planning room to achieve this balance
- Convert user requirements and designs into scalable architecture
- Prioritize features and design sprints based on available resources. Delegate projects effectively to meet tight deadlines while ensuring app stability and promoting team member growth
- Set and maintain expectations for engineers. Establish processes and procedures. Shape culture, philosophy, and norms
- Show enthusiasm and passion for solving our user problems and inspire team members
- Showcase hands-on tech leadership. You may not be submitting PRs daily, but you will be reviewing, commenting, and making final decisions in discussions
- Manage and lead the process of sourcing, attracting, and evaluating new talent
Qualifications and Skills
- Product ownership
- Designing architecture
- Close to the code
- At least 4 years of experience in hands-on, full-stack engineering leadership
- At least 4 years of experience in product engineering, building for external customers (B2C or B2B)
- Experience in fintech, lending, banking, or capital markets is preferred
- Monthly office visits in Los Angeles, if working remotely
- Confident & hungry
