RESPONSIBILITIES

In our customs team you design and implement Information-System-Tools to ensure customs compliance.

• In this role you will support foreign trade-related inquiries, projects, mergers and acquisitions.
• You will interface with global stakeholders and business analysts across different time zones to gather requirements and come to a conclusion by making and validating appropriate assumptions.
• While you will design the transaction processes to support customs savings for the BASF Group, you will develop proposals to optimize the export and import customs declaration process with regard to IS solutions.
• You will be part of bundling expert knowledge and promote supra-regional cooperation in customs and foreign trade activities in the field of supply chain operations.
• Furthermore, you will implement regional knowledge transfers for business expert communities during business releases.

QUALIFICATIONS

• degree in business administration or any related area to supply chain and customs
• experience in supply chain operations or customs
• knowledge in SAP R/3 and SAP GTS
• fluent communication in German and English

• Gross annual salary (full-time): € 64,000 - 67,000, depending on professional experience and qualifications. In addition, you can expect a bonus depending on the company's success and individual performance.
