Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain/Procurement Specialist for our telco client.



Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic sourcing, P.O. management, and contract negotiation
  • Process purchase requests for all departments (i.e. computer equipment, miscellaneous tools and electronic components, etc.)
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors
  • Develop and lead manufacturing partner(s) to achieve the highest quality performance
  • Manage and coordinate material procurement with engineering and our CM as needed to support NPI builds including but not limited to
  • Coordinating with engineering on obtaining supplier quotes and related lead-times, pricing, etc.
  • Main point of contact with key suppliers on delivery of NPI items including tracking status and relaying any pertinent information to the engineering team regarding pricing, schedules, changes, etc
  • Work closely with EMS/CM partners to ensure timely material supply to meet customer shipments
  • Proactively anticipate and communicate critical/strategic materials issues with action plans to superiors
  • Encourage and manage effective/cooperative interdepartmental working relationships throughout
  • Effectively manage order administration and timely shipment activities
  • Establish and continually improve planning processes and procedures
  • Review, develop and implement processes to minimize excess and obsolete inventory
  • Forecasting, Production Planning and Scheduling
  • Determine appropriate course of action to resolve capacity constraints and material shortfalls. Develop, implement, and monitor material re-qualification activities for cost reduction and quality improvements
  • Influence supplier manufacturing processes and product development activities to ensure synergy with Mimosa’s product strategies
  • Support and manage KPI reporting on supply, demand, inventory levels and supply chain costs
  • Cost reduction roadmap development and implementation oversight
  • Manage and conduct quarterly supplier business reviews




Qualifications



  • BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related experience
  • 5-10 years Supply Chain Management/Purchasing experience working with Contract Manufacturers both locally and/or abroad
  • Experience with PCB, PCBAs, and Mechanical Assemblies, particularly with respect to wireless or networking related products
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint applications
  • NetSuite and Arena experience preferred
  • APICS Certification or CPM preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
