About This Role:

Jenni Kayne is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst with strong data curiosity, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys the challenge of solving highly complex business problems and, above all, is passionate about driving outcomes with data and analytics. This role will specifically support the marketing acquisition team to drive growth through marketing optimization and experimentation.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Senior Data Analyst- Marketing, your primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Partner with the Marketing team on marketing attribution, multi-channel portfolio optimization, and increasing LTV/CAC. Keep a laser focus on achieving incremental revenue growth and improving marketing ROI.
  • Build out clear insights on marketing performance by cross channel (paid and organic) to drive incremental customer acquisition at scale through CAC and LTV optimization.
  • Partner with data engineers to build out attribution methodology (last click, first click) by channel/ad/creative.
  • Partner with Marketing and Growth teams on new customer funnels (LP and checkouts) and experiments to improve conversion rate.
  • Build data sets for exploration, as needed by stitching disparate data sources for deep data exploration that uncovers the 'Why' in addition to the 'What.'
  • Leverage Python/R and other tools to run complex data analysis, statistical confidence for A/B Tests, and predictive and classification models.
  • Build automated and scalable solutions for self-service analytics. Ensure data pipelines are scalable to accommodate growing data volumes, and oversee maintenance of reporting dashboards.
  • Partner with marketing and growth team on new customer acquisition offers/promotions insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with data engineers, data scientist and growth analyst on product recommendation, cross sell/up sell and discount strategy.
  • Maintain ethical standards in data collection and analysis, ensuring privacy and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Develop measurement frameworks and methodologies to assess the impact of marketing campaigns on revenue. Design A/B tests, control groups, and other experiments (including marketing lift and incrementality tests) to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies.
  • Build predictive models to inform revenue forecasting & strategic investments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics.
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Data Analytics in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to drive positive business outcomes via data analysis & application.
  • Strong SQL skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
  • Prior experience in MTA and MMM models.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in Python /R
  • Advance analytics techniques (regression, classification etc.)
  • Prior experience in eCommerce, DTC brands
  • Master's in business Analytics

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to move and lift heavy objects (15 pounds or more) from time to time as required

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000. The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
