Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer for a full time, direct hire (perm) role with our direct. This position is 100% remote; must work PST hours.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps
• Experience working in financial asset management/investment environment
• Job tenure (not a lot of short-term contracts, etc.)

Role:

• Configure and maintain Azure DevOps infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability.
• Manage user access and permissions, set up project structures, and maintain repositories.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.
• Integrate code repositories, build tools, testing frameworks, and deployment targets.
• Oversee version control systems, such as Git, and ensure proper branching, merging, and code reviews.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Automate code compilation, unit testing, and code analysis.
• Monitor and report on build and test results, ensuring rapid feedback to development teams.
• Automate application deployments to various environments (e.g., development, staging, production) with minimal downtime.
• Implement release management strategies and coordinate deployments.
• Implement monitoring solutions to track application performance, infrastructure health, and resource utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize processes and infrastructure for efficiency.
• Implement security controls, encryption, and compliance measures within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.
