Systems Engineer III

The Security Patching Analyst supports the execution of vulnerability remediation process, with the primary goal of protecting the Ahold Delhaize USA Network (Switches, firewalls, routers, AP points etc.) from security cyber risks. Partners with ISO in the identification/validation of security vulnerabilities, coordinates testing with QA and internal IT stakeholder, schedules remediation in established maintenance windows, directs vendor partners to execute patches/updates, validates results, provides reporting. In addition to remediating backlog/new vulnerabilities, resolves Zero Day vulnerabilities within designated time frames.

Looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years relative experience with Network administration / engineering (switches, routers, FWs, Client)

• Experience as Systems Engineer or admin in diverse Network environments (working with different configs of WAN/LANs), will give the individual the insight to develop remediation efforts that will address vulnerabilities that reside on our network. This is a 'hands off' position. This person will be directing our vendor partners what to remediate when and collaborate on how.
• Proven experience in process creation including gap analysis and identification for process improvements.
• Strong skills with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience with a Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) demonstrated capability for making recommendations based on results.
• Working knowledge / prior experience of vulnerability discovery tools like Rapid7 is helpful. ** With the sensitivity of this organizations cyber posture, this person must reside in the US and be eligible to work in the US.
