Job Description
Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Journeyman Engineer/Scientist to support The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems Department (B Department) through their Radar Systems Division B40, which provides Sensor Systems expertise across the entire acquisition lifecycle from concept exploration through sustainment of Navy and Marine Corps Radar Systems.
The successful candidate shall provide engineering and technical support services to support NSWCDD at the warfare center, test facilities, Contractor facilities, and in the field. The Contractor shall provide Radar System Integration and Test support to include: Development of System Level Test procedures to support radar integration into various combat systems such as Aegis Integrated Test Articles (ITA) and Integrated Analysis Files (IAF), map system requirements to test requirements, Evaluate test data against requirements and test objectives, data analysis of collected test data, and assist in the execution of system level test procedures.

- Bachelor’s degree from an a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; or Ph.D degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.
- Must have active DoD Secret clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum four years if Candidate has a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum two years if Candidate has a Master degree
- Demonstrated experience and ability to perform detailed and complex calculations
- Knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
- Prior experience with Aegis weapon system
