Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. The candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.


Responsibilities:


Sales BDM (Engineering background) – This could be based out of anywhere in US.


  • Responsible for delivering sales revenue from engineering services to clients and prospects on US.
  • New sales with capability of hunting new accounts and farming existing accounts.
  • To sell Product Engineering Services.
  • Achieves and exceeds revenue quota targets by winning new contracts and orders through prospecting and developing new & existing customer relationships.
  • Accurately forecasts & achieve annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and monitors the growth.
  • Establish & engage at Manager/Director level to penetrate into new market / business opportunities.
  • Negotiates contractual terms and conditions, and works with the proposal and technical teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and builds a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement & identify new business opportunities.
  • Good understanding of the offshore and global delivery model
  • Experience selling into Storage, Medical devices or Industrial domain.
  • Able and willing to develop client base via aggressive prospecting
  • Able to engage customers in Embedded / Software / Digital services space.
  • Good technical skills in Digital and Embedded engineering and engage the potential customer with “consultative selling” is essential


 The Successful Applicant

  • Results orientated and with a strong will to win, need to be an effective communicator, commercially astute, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of success in a business development role within IT Service industry.
  • High levels of commercial credibility, experienced in contract negotiations and level supply/service level agreements.


Experience:

Graduate with 8– 15 years’ experience selling to US based clients

Qualification: Preferable MBA with Engineering back ground.
