As the operations manager at Nature's Seed, you will be a key component in ensuring the smooth operation of our business and maintaining our reputation for excellence.




Position Description:


As a member of the Nature's Seed fulfillment team, you will work under the direction of the Divisional Operations Manager and will be responsible for assisting with the order fulfillment process from start to finish. You will be responsible for processing customer orders, compiling paperwork, verifying order accuracy, and coordinating with other teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Receive and process customer orders, ensuring that all order details are accurate and complete.
  • Verify product availability and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that products are available for shipment.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm order details, answer questions, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that products are properly packed and labeled for shipment.
  • Generate shipping labels and documentation and coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of order processing, tracking information, and customer communications.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, implementing new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Learn the ins and outs of our custom ERP system to fulfill orders, manage inventory, and process returns.
  • Assist as needed with logistics, sales & service, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of order processing and fulfillment operations, including shipping and logistics.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and order management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data.
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic.

Working Conditions:

While this is an office position, please note that you will be required to work near an environment containing dust and other plant related debris. People with asthma or known allergens to grasses, pollen, etc. should not apply.

Job Type:

  • Full time, 40 hours/week
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00/hour based on experience
