Job Description Job Description As a Play Café Team Member, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for both kids and adults. This includes helping in the café, maintaining a safe and clean play space, and providing excellent customer service. Barista experience is not required—but if you have it, that’s a bonus! We’ll provide training so you feel confident in your role. Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude Prepare and serve café drinks and snacks (training provided) Maintain cleanliness and safety in both the café and play areas Monitor the play space to ensure children are safe and rules are followed Assist with birthday parties, special events, and group activities Restock supplies and help with opening/closing duties Provide excellent customer service and support to families Qualifications: Positive, friendly, and energetic personality Enjoys working with both children and adults Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy environment Willingness to learn café operations (barista skills are a plus, but not required) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
