As part of this career path, you will be working with core IT infrastructure technology such as VMware vSphere virtualization, Windows servers, Windows desktop, Linux, Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Cybersecurity, Avaya phone systems, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and more. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive hands-on onsite support and maintenance for IT infrastructure within manufacturing and warehouse environments, encompassing hardware, networking, security, mobile devices, and operating systems Install, diagnose, repair, maintain & upgrade all hardware & equipment to ensure optimal system performance Provide end user training & assistance where required Perform analysis, diagnosis & resolution of PC and Network problems for a variety of end users Receive & respond to incoming calls or e-mails regarding service requests Develop & maintain an inventory of all IT related equipment Monitor & test infrastructure services performance, provide infrastructure services performance statistics/reports Accurately document instances of all IT related issues in service desk tracking system Liaise with third-party support & equipment vendors Provide after-hours support as needed Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Minimum two years of direct, hands-on experience providing end-user support in a non-call center environment, with demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Demonstrated commitment to customer service Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides Self-starter with track record of learning new skills Certifications required: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate and Cisco Certified Network Associate Advanced technical expertise in network operations (Layer 3 routing, VLAN, firewall, VPN), as well as PC and server hardware. Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, switching, DNS, routing, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Linux, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Windows Endpoint, and Windows Servers Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft domain environments, including proficiency with Active Directory tools such as Group Policy Objects (GPO) Capacity to perform effectively under stringent deadlines Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast paced, and entrepreneurial setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work under tight deadlines Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred Competencies: Customer Service Orientation – Ensure individual customer needs are met Concern for Excellence – Committed to the achievement and maintenance of quality; sets high standards of performance for self and others Drive – Enthusiastic and committed Building and maintaining relationships If you are a self-starter and have experience in the manufacturing industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
