Senior Flight Controls Engineer with Security Clearance

Responsibilities As a Senior Flight Controls Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have an opportunity to do the following: * Provide innovative, technical solutions to solve complex problems on advance aircraft * Provide technical and programmatic support and oversight on Navy aircraft platforms including F-35, E-2, and F-18. * Perform control law design and analysis * Analyze redundancy management of safety critical control systems * Support Built-In-Test (BIT) design * Perform Flight Control System integration testing (including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-aircraft) * Analyze flight control systems including flight control computers, software, hydraulic and electromechanical actuators, and mechanical flight control linkages * Support the flight control system software support activity Qualifications * The ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Requires US Citizenship) * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical discipline * 5-10 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following * Flight Control Law design and analysis * Flight Control system simulation and hardware in the loop * Flight Control system testing (ground, flight, and lab environment) * Flight Control Software development, integration, analysis, and test EEO Statement EEO Race/Sex/Disability Status/Veteran Status
