SHE Manager responsibilities include implementing strategies, procedures, and training programs to keep safety a core value across the operation. You will play a key role in shaping the safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Support the Plant Manager to ensure compliance with laws, company regulations, and internal policies in Health, Safety & Environment. Develop and implement SHE strategies, procedures, and training programs. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards; lead incident investigations and ensure root-cause analysis and follow-up actions. Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to analyze non-compliances, near-misses, accidents, and injuries to drive continuous improvement. Manage contacts with suppliers (PPE, waste disposal, etc.). Monitor and report on SHE performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement. You bring Master’s degree in SHE Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Preventive Health Professions. At least 5 years of experience with SHE management systems and audits in the chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industry. Broad understanding of manufacturing (raw materials, processes, ingredients, flavors), laboratories, operations, and supply chain processes. Strong knowledge of SHE regulations and standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, GMP, and HACCP. Additional qualifications in food safety or industrial hygiene (e.g., NEBOSH National General Certificate or IOSH) are highly desirable. High attention to detail with a proactive, results-oriented approach focused on continuous improvement. Excellent communication, training delivery, and report writing skills.
