QA Automation & Performance Engineer

Role Summary Spindox is seeking a QA Automation & Performance Engineer to join our team in Rome. Responsibilities Design and build test automation frameworks from scratch, integrating them with CI/CD systems. Develop and execute automated test scripts in Python and Java. Automate functional UI and API tests using Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress. Implement and manage performance tests with JMeter, Gatling, Locust, and orchestration via Taurus/BlazeMeter. Collaborate with development and PM teams to identify test requirements and improve overall quality. Produce clear, structured reports and present results to key stakeholders. Promote QA and performance engineering best practices across the organization. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in test automation and performance testing. Strong knowledge of Python and Java. Proficiency with Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress. Experience building automation frameworks from design to deployment. API testing experience using Postman and RestAssured. Performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, Locust. CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Docker and Kubernetes knowledge for execution environments. Fluent in English. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Independence in problem solving and proactive solution proposal. Team-oriented and knowledge-sharing attitude. Nice-to-have ISTQB Performance Testing certification. Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure). Monitoring/observability tools: Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus. BDD/TDD methodology familiarity.
