Join to apply for the Project Manager – Helmets role at Alpinestars Position We are currently looking for a Project Manager – Helmets to join our R&D Department and play a pivotal role in the product development process from inception to bulk production. In this role you will be responsible for the timely delivery, cost management and product compliance with Alpinestars’ quality and innovation standards for various projects within the Helmets Division, working cross‑functionally with internal and external stakeholders at an international level. Main Responsibilities You will be in charge of product development and improvement projects from inception to bulk production (concept, design, prototyping, tooling, testing, and industrialisation), ensuring compliance with the company’s quality, safety and performance standards. You will define and monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will drive cross‑functional feedback, conduct risk assessments and resolve any issues or blockers during the project lifecycle. You will coordinate cross‑functional internal teams such as Design, CAD, Testing and Sourcing, and work closely with suppliers based in Asia on tooling, sampling and production alignment. You will track project phases and milestones, ensuring the timely release of clear and up‑to‑date documentation (Bills of Materials, technical information, certifications, testing reports and technical drawings). You will support continuous improvement strategies, including cost optimisation tactics. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields. A minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex product development projects, preferably in consumer goods or mobility sectors, with a strong focus on timelines, budget management and technical release. Previous experience in Project Management is a strong plus; solid knowledge of tooling, industrialisation and supplier management, especially with Asian manufacturing partners, is required. Excellent communication and coordination skills for smooth cross‑functional collaboration in an international environment. Familiarity with PLM, MS Project and Excel is mandatory. A structured mindset, proactive approach, strong organisational skills and attention to detail are necessary. Fluency in English. Availability to travel periodically to suppliers and production sites in Asia.
